On June 26, 2025, the Deputy Secretary-General of the SCO, Ahmad Saidmurodzoda, took part via videoconference in a panel session of the Eurasian Economic Forum on the topic “Dialogue of interstate associations: aligning economic potentials and deepening trade and economic cooperation.”
During the event, issues of developing cooperation and synchronizing the efforts of regional organizations to support economic growth in the Eurasian region were discussed.

In his remarks at the meeting, A. Saidmurodzoda noted that the SCO is an active participant in various Eurasian and large-scale initiatives. In this context, participants’ attention was drawn to the appeal by the heads of SCO member states to international organizations active in the Asia-Pacific region to start building a partnership network of multilateral associations, with the goal of forming a cooperative security and stability system in the region.
The SCO Initiative “For Global Unity for a Just Peace, Harmony, and Development” was also presented, with an emphasis on its economic component.

The plenary session was also attended by and featured speeches from: the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus P. Parkevich, the Chairman of the EEC Board M. Sagiyev, the Secretary-General of the CIS S. Lebedev, the Secretary-General of the CSTO K. Sarybay, the State Secretary of the Standing Committee of the Union State G. Glazyev, and the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation D. Volvach.
