On June 19, 2025, the 7th SCO International Art Biennale opened in Hangzhou, China. Cultural and art figures from the Organization's member states participated in it.
In her speech at the opening ceremony, the representative of the Secretariat noted that the SCO attaches great importance to the implementation of multilateral initiatives that contribute to strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties between countries and friendship between their peoples, as well as promoting the principles of the "Shanghai Spirit".
The exhibition features paintings by acclaimed artists from the "SCO community", depicting the peoples' aspiration for a beautiful life, the fusion of diverse cultures, and the achievement of common development.
The 7th SCO International Art Biennale will run until June 28, 2025.
