On April 28, 2025, the Chairman of the Union of Composers of Tajikistan and author of the Anthem of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Amirbek Musozoda, visited the SCO Secretariat.
An exchange of views took place between the honored guest and the Deputy Secretaries-General, Janesh Kain and Ahmad Saidmurodzoda, focusing on the development of humanitarian cooperation among SCO member states.
The initiative to adopt an SCO Anthem was proposed in 2020 by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.
The Regulation on the Organization’s Anthem was approved by the Council of Heads of State on September 17, 2021, and the Anthem was performed for the first time at the SCO’s 20th Anniversary Summit in Dushanbe.
On December 10, 2024, in Beijing, a ceremony was held where the Republic of Tajikistan officially presented the score of the Anthem to the SCO Secretariat.
