On April 22, 2025, in the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Beijing, Deputy Secretary-General of the SCO Ahmad Saidmurodzoda conducted a briefing for senior diplomats accredited to the People's Republic of China from the embassies of SCO dialogue partner countries.
Participants were provided with information on the progress of implementing the decisions made during the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of SCO members held on July 4, 2024, in Astana and on preparations for the upcoming summit of the Organization scheduled for fall 2025 in China.
Briefing of the SCO Secretariat for Representatives of Dialogue Partners
The state and prospects of interaction among dialogue partners within the framework of the SCO were discussed in accordance with the signed memoranda and the provisions of the corresponding "roadmap".
There was also an exchange of opinions on the possibility of dialogue partners participating in meetings of heads of ministries and departments, contacts through non-governmental structures, scientific and expert meetings, cultural days, festivals, exhibitions, sports competitions, and other events of SCO member states in various areas.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from the embassies of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bahrain, Egypt, Cambodia, Qatar, Kuwait, the Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Sri Lanka accredited in China.
