On April 21, 2025, in Beijing, the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Nurlan Yermekbayev, held a briefing for the permanent representatives of the member states at the SCO Secretariat.
The Secretary-General informed colleagues about the results of his official visits to Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Pakistan, which took place in March-April of this year. Issues related to the preparation of high-level and top-level events under the Organization in 2025 were also discussed, along with current aspects of the SCO's activities.
The meeting was attended by the permanent representatives of ten member states of the Organization and officials from the Secretariat.
