From April 8 to 11, 2025, regular meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of the member states of the Organisation took place at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Beijing, chaired by the China.
At the opening, Secretary-General Nurlan Yermekbayev and Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of SCO (RATS) Ularbek Sharsheev delivered speeches.
High-ranking representatives from ten member states of the Organisation, officials from the Secretariat, and RATS participated in the meeting.
During the discussion, current agenda issues were thoroughly examined, including preparations for high- and top-level events this year within the framework of China's current presidency in SCO. There was a substantive exchange of views on the drafts of key documents submitted for consideration by the member states.
A statement initiated by the China was also adopted, supporting a fair, inclusive, and non-discriminatory multilateral trading system with the central role of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
In addition, the delegations visited Shanghai on a working visit.
