On 26 February 2025, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Nurlan Yermekbayev held a meeting with Secretary General of the Taihu World Cultural Forum Zheng Chuanxin in Beijing.
The SCO Secretary-General thanked the Chinese side for its continued interest in the Organization’s work and briefed the guests on the priorities of its activities, including the establishment of humanitarian dialogue and development of people-to-people diplomacy.
The participants exchanged views on the development of cultural ties in the SCO region. They discussed prospects for expanding cooperation, including the possibility of joint participation in projects of mutual interest.
