On 13 September 2024, SCO Deputy Secretary General Nuran Niyazaliev took part in the 7th Belt and Road Forum for Traditional Chinese Medicine Development, held in Beijing as part of the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS).
In his remarks, Nuran Niyazaliyev gave an assessment of the current interaction between the SCO member states in the field of healthcare and traditional medicine, noting the importance of implementing joint measures in these areas. It was noted that the SCO countries have achieved tangible results in this area, having formulated the necessary legal framework and developed practical mechanisms of interaction.
