SCO representative attends EEC roundtable “International cooperation for Sustainable Development Goals during the Covid-19 pandemic: current challenges and prospects”

On 30 March 2022, at the invitation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, SCO Deputy Secretary-General Muratbek Azymbakiev spoke at the roundtable meeting "International cooperation for Sustainable Development Goals during the Covid-19 pandemic: current challenges and prospects," organised during the 9th Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development.

Muratbek Azymbakiev's report focused on the role of the SCO in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and reaffirmed the member states' steady course towards promoting a dialogue between civilisations, strengthening peace and developing equal partnerships. The SCO will continue to play an active role in ensuring consistent growth and prosperity and in pursuing the corresponding Sustainable Development Agenda until 2030.
