Experts from SCO member states discuss expanded agriculture cooperation

On 28-29 March 2022, Uzbekistan chaired an online meeting of the Permanent Expert Working Group on Agriculture of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO). The participants coordinated a draft concept of SCO member states' interaction in the field of smart agriculture and agricultural innovations. They reviewed the implementation of the 2021-2025 action plan to fulfil the intergovernmental agreement on agriculture cooperation.

The experts approved the relevant draft documents in preparation for a regular Meeting of Agriculture Ministers of the SCO Member States.
