On 22 February 2022, Dushanbe, the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan, was the venue for the offline / online roundtable discussion SCO 2022: Steering for New Development Goals, organised by the SCO Centre for Friendship and Cooperation in Tajikistan. Senior diplomats from embassies of SCO member states in Dushanbe, Secretary-General of China's SCO Committee on Neighbourliness, Friendship and Cooperation Zheng Wei, Director of the SCO Centre for Public Diplomacy in Uzbekistan Kabuljon Sabirov, Victoria Khu, President of SCOLAR Network (SCO Countries Youth Platform) that brings together young leaders from the SCO region, and Professor Rashid Alimov, DSc (Pedagogics), from the Academy of State Administration of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan all delivered reports.
Deputy SCO Secretary-General Grigory Logvinov and SCO National Coordinator in the Republic of Tajikistan Ahmad Saidmurodzoda greeted the roundtable discussion's participants.
The participants approved the plan of work of the SCO Centre for Friendship and Cooperation in Tajikistan for 2022.
