Meeting of SCO experts to discuss youth policy cooperation agreement

On 30 March there was a meeting held via videoconference of SCO experts. The event, chaired by Tajikistan, was to discuss a draft Agreement on Cooperation in Youth Policy Between the Authorised Bodies of the SCO Member States.

During the meeting those taking part discussed the draft Agreement on Cooperation in Youth Policy with due account of the comments and proposals made by the parties concerned.

The document was drafted and submitted by Tajikistan, which is currently chairing the SCO.

As the SCO Chair, the Republic of Tajikistan suggested that the parties should hold their first in person meeting of the heads of the SCO youth agencies and the SCO Youth Council. This proposal was backed by all sides.
