Tajikistan has developed and launched the official website of the Republic of Tajikistan's chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in 2020-2021.
The website scosummit2021.tj offers detailed up-to-date information on the activities being performed by Tajikistan in the context of its SCO chairmanship.
On 10 November 2020, the Republic of Tajikistan took over the SCO chairmanship from the Russian Federation at the SCO Summit in Moscow. The 20th SCO Summit will be held in the capital of Tajikistan, Dushanbe, on 16-17 September 2021.
Tajikistan also held the SCO chairmanship in 2008 as well as in 2014.
