On 11 October 2020, members of the SCO Observer Mission for the presidential election in Tajikistan from among the SCO Secretariat officials visited Polling Station No. 3 at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan to the People's Republic of China.
The SCO Mission was updated on the process of the election of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan abroad, in particular, at the country's foreign missions.
The polling station members informed international observers about the voting process in Beijing and noted that the citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan who are registered at this polling station were actively exercising their electoral rights. As of the time of the visit, 80 percent of the voters had already cast their ballots.
The SCO Observer Mission noted that all the materials that might be needed by the voters, including on the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as information about presidential candidates, were available at the polling station.
