On 3 May 2017, Kanayim Baktygulova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the People's Republic of China, visited the headquarters of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in connection with completing her diplomatic mission in China. During her visit, Ms Baktygulova also met with Deputy SCO Secretary-General Sabyr Imandosov.
During the meeting, the Deputy Secretary-General sincerely thanked the Ambassador, on behalf of the SCO Secretariat, for her tremendous contribution to expanding joint cooperation between the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the main SCO administrative body, as well as for her contribution to promoting the Organisation's noble goals and tasks. "In the years of your work as Ambassador of the friendly Kyrgyzstan and as the country's Permanent Representative at the SCO Secretariat, you have repeatedly proved your commitment to the Shanghai Spirit. I would like to express hope that you will continue to assist the Organisation's sustained development in the future," Mr Imandosov said.
In turn, Kanayim Baktygulova thanked the Deputy Secretary-General for the warm reception and expressed confidence that cooperation between the Embassy and the SCO headquarters would continue to develop and expand. She also conveyed sincere words of thanks to SCO Secretary-General Rashid Alimov and the entire SCO Secretariat team for joint work.
The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
