On 28 April 2017, the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation's headquarters hosted a meeting between SCO Secretary-General Rashid Alimov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the People's Republic of China Chinar Rustamova.
During the conversation the officials expressed interest in the further progressive development of the SCO's cooperation with Turkmenistan in a wide range of areas, including the transport sector and construction of multilateral transit corridors.
The conversation was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the presentation, The Transport Potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan, at the SCO Secretariat.
