SCO Secretary-General receives Turkmenistan’s ambassador to China

On 23 March, 2017, SCO Secretary-General Rashid Alimov had a meeting with Turkmenisan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to China Chinar Rustamova, at the SCO headquarters in Beijing.

At the meeting, Turkmenistan's ambassador noted the high professionalism of the SCO Observer Mission during the preparations for and the presidential election in Turkmenistan. She thanked the organisation for its productive cooperation with the country.

Rashid Alimov stressed the significance that the SCO attaches to cooperation with the friendly state of Turkmenistan, and expressed hope for further gradual expansion of contacts in a wide range of issues.

The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere.
