Our Common Buddhist Heritage is the first ever international conference on India's civilisational ties with the SCO countries.
The purpose of the initiative is to restore intercultural ties and find common features between Buddhist art in Central Asia, archaeological sites and antiquities stored in various museums in the SCO countries.
The participants include experts from the State Museum of the History of Religions of Russia, China’s Donghuang Research Academy, the Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnology of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Museum of Antiquities of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the International Theravada Buddhist Missionary University of Myanmar.
The newly created conference website at nmvirtual.in/Sco.php offers users the opportunity to explore the Buddhist heritage of the SCO countries.
