Multilateralism is in decline. But multilateralism has served not just the interests of America; it has established a rules‐based global economic order that helped, for example, China to engineer astronomical economic growth. Does multilateralism have a future? What is the role of regional organizations like the SCO in this future?

I consider that in the current context of humanity's struggle against the coronavirus pandemic, the principles of multilateralism become more than relevant.

Today, all states and international organizations are closely connected with each other and the key to defeating this invisible enemy, which knows no borders, is global solidarity and international cooperation.
