In the current situation, the international community is making huge efforts to combat COVID-19.
The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the active use of modern information technologies in all areas of socioeconomic life.
On 28 May the SCO Secretariat will hold an online webinar conference for interested organisations and individuals. Brian Wong, Head of Alibaba Global Initiatives and Vice President of Alibaba Group, will be a special guest at the conference, ready to share the company's experience and answer questions from participants.
During the conference, the following issues will be discussed:
— What support measures Alibaba has provided to SME's to help transform their business models and ensure their survival during the pandemic;
— How entrepreneurs in the SCO region and around the world can use Alibaba's experience to pivot and sustain businesses; and,
— What are opportunities for entrepreneurs and SME's in the post-COVID world — in and beyond China.
Respective ministries and agencies in charge of e-trade and start-up development, associations and chamber of industry and commerce, as well as entrepreneurs in the digital economy and students majoring in digitisation and start-up organisations are all invited to participate.
