SCO Secretary-General receives Ambassador of Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal

SCO Secretary-General met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal

On 23 November, at the SCO headquarters in Beijing, SCO Secretary-General Rashid Alimov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal to the People's Republic of China Leela Mani Paudyal at the latter's request.

The parties exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.

The Ambassador spoke highly of cooperation within the SCO, which is based on the Shanghai Spirit, stressing that "Nepal, as an SCO dialogue partner, is interested in further expanding the country's activities and boosting cooperation with the SCO."

At the request of the Nepali diplomat, the Secretary-General informed him about SCO's activities.

The meeting took place in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
