SCO RATS technical experts meet in Beijing

On 17-19 May, technical experts from competent agencies met at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Secretariat within the framework of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS). The meeting was chaired by China.

The experts considered issues pertaining to the creation of a Protected Information and Telecommunications Security System between competent agencies of the SCO Member States, as well as important issues concerning technical cooperation within the SCO framework.

The cyber expert group of the SCO Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure (RATS) is a key institutional mechanism for the interaction of competent authorities of the SCO Member States aimed at deepening their cybersecurity cooperation in countering terrorism, separatism and extremism.
