SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming meets with Armenian Ambassador to China Sergei Manasaryan

On 15 December 2023, SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming met at the SCO Secretariat with Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia Sergei Manasaryan to mark the end of his ambassadorship.

The Secretary-General thanked Ambassador Manasaryan for his pro-active assistance to the SCO Secretariat’s efforts during his tenure and praised his contribution to Armenia’s broad involvement in various areas of interaction. He also expressed hope that the Ambassador would continue to follow the SCO’s progress.

Sergei Manasaryan thanked Zhang Ming for the meeting, praised the SCO’s achievements, and stated that Armenia was ready to increase cooperation with the SCO member states. He also noted that the Armenian Embassy in Beijing was prepared to maintain close contact with the Secretariat.
