On 4 September 2023, a delegation of the SCO Secretariat headed by Deputy Secretary-General Nurlan Yermekbayev visited the Smart China Expo (SCE 2023) at the invitation of the Chongqing City Government. Officials, ambassadors and diplomatic representatives from Asian, European and Latin American countries also arrived at the exhibition.
Nurlan Yermekbayev met with top officials of the Chongqing City Communist Party Committee and the Chongqing City Government, as well as representatives of major enterprises in the sphere of smart (intelligent) technologies.
