SCO Council of National Coordinators meets for the first time under Kazakhstani chairmanship

On 21 August 2023, the Council of National Coordinators (CNC) of the SCO member states opened in Almaty as part of Kazakhstan's chairmanship of the SCO.

The agenda includes a wide range of issues concerning the implementation of the earlier decisions by the SCO Heads of State Council, Heads of Government Council and the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs, and the development of new solutions. The discussion will also focus on the modernisation of the SCO, including its expansion plans, improvement of interaction with observer states, SCO dialogue partners, international organisations and others.
