On 14 July, the SCO Secretariat hosted the signing ceremony of the memorandum on granting the Kingdom of Bahrain the status of SCO dialogue partner.
The memorandum was signed by Zhang Ming, Secretary-General of the Organisation, and Mohammed Adnan Shaikho, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the People's Republic of China.
The decision to grant the Kingdom of Bahrain the status of SCO dialogue partner was adopted at the meeting of the SCO Heads of State Council on 16 September 2022 in Samarkand.
