On 6 July 2023, the SCO Secretariat hosted a meeting between SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the People’s Republic of China Aktilek Musaeva.
The Secretary-General and the Ambassador exchanged views on the results of the meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of State (Delhi, 4 July 2023) and discussed practical matters related to the preparations for the upcoming meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government (prime ministers) scheduled to take place in Bishkek in October 2023.
Zhang Ming confirmed that the SCO Secretariat was ready to render Kyrgyzstan comprehensive support in implementing the decisions and agreements reached by the SCO heads of state and government.
Ms Musaeva noted her Embassy’s unswerving commitment to promoting close and constructive cooperation with the SCO Secretariat on all aspects of the SCO agenda.
