Meeting of SCO Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors

On 3 March 2023, India chaired the Meeting of Finance Ministers and Governors of Central (National) Banks of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Member States, held via videoconference.

Deputy Secretary-General Sohail Khan delivered a welcoming address.

The participants held an in-depth exchange of views on the Growth Strategy for a Sustainable and Inclusive Future developed under the Indian Presidency, as well as on promoting financial inclusion through the use of digital technologies. The meeting resulted in the adoption of the Report on Digital Financial Inclusion.
