On 13 October 2022, SCO Deputy Secretary-General Grigory Logvinov attended a plenary meeting of the 6th summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Astana, Kazakhstan, at the invitation of the CICA Secretariat and on behalf of SCO Secretary-General Zhang Ming.
On the sidelines of the summit, Grigory Logvinov met with Executive Director of the CICA Secretariat Kairat Sarybay and Chairman of the Executive Committee —Executive Secretary of the Commonwealth of Independent States Sergei Lebedev. He also had talks with Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich and Secretary-General of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation Stanislav Zas.
On 14 October 2022, the SCO Deputy Secretary-General attended an expanded format meeting of the CIS Heads of State Council.
