On 25-28 April 2022, Uzbekistan chaired a regular SCO Council of National Coordinators Meeting in Fergana in the hybrid format. The participants discussed preparations for the meeting of the SCO Foreign Ministers Council, as well as meetings of heads of ministries and agencies, due to take place in 2022. The discussion is part of preparations for the main event of the year, namely, the SCO Heads of State Council meeting, scheduled for September 2022 in Samarkand.
The Council of National Coordinators is responsible for coordinating and managing the Organisation's current activities. Its members facilitate the necessary preparations for meetings of the SCO Heads of State Council, the SCO Heads of Government Council, which involves prime ministers from SCO member states, and the SCO Foreign Ministers Council.
