On 25 March 2022, Uzbekistan chaired this year's first meeting of experts to prepare the 4th Meeting of Ministers of Interior and Public Security of SCO Member States, which is scheduled to be held in Tashkent on 12-14 May 2022.
The participants resumed the discussion of priority areas of the member states' cooperation to combat transnational organised crime, terrorism, extremism, separatism, human trafficking, and illegal trade in narcotics, psychotropic substances and precursors, munitions and explosives. They pointed out their mutual resolve to continue strengthening cooperation against the use of ICT for criminal purposes.
They also coordinated the draft documents to be submitted to the ministerial meeting.
