On 28‒29 March 2022, Uzbekistan chaired regular meetings, via videoconference, of the expert working groups on law enforcement and countering drug crimes as well on upgrading the legal framework for anti-drug cooperation, operating as part of the Meeting of the Heads of the SCO Counter-Narcotics Agencies.
The experts continued to exchange information and experience related to countering drug trafficking, including current legal practices. They also reviewed the progress of the 2021‒2023 Action Plan on the implementation of the Programme of Action for the SCO Anti-Drug Strategy for 2018‒2023.
The experts agreed to exchange regular updates on the matter through the SCO Secretariat.
