On 18-19 January 2022, the Uzbek party chaired, via videoconference, the first meeting of experts to discuss the draft strategy of SCO member-states on expanding connectivity and establishing cost-effective economic and transport corridors.
Meeting participants unanimously agreed to use the document, drafted by the Uzbek party, as a basis in their future work.
The Uzbek party drafted the strategy under the 2021-2025 Action Plan to implement the SCO Development Strategy until 2025.
