On 15 July 2021, Dushanbe hosted the SCO Tourism Forum both online and offline as part of the Meeting of the Tourism Administrations Heads of SCO Member States. Taking part in the forum were also representatives of observer states and SCO dialogue partners.
The forum was dedicated to exchanging experience, developing contacts between representatives of SCO tourism bodies and businesses, and studying the specifics of tourism product development in the SCO member states.
The delegation members spoke about measures taken to strengthen the potential of the tourism industry in the SCO member states after the coronavirus pandemic and also presented their tourism capabilities.
