On 2 June 2021, experts held a meeting in the online format to prepare a conference of SCO member states' senior officials in charge of environmental protection. The meeting was chaired by Tajikistan.
The participants focused on the issues related to the preparations for the conference.
The high-level experts discussed the conference agenda and held a constructive exchange of opinions on the draft documents to be adopted.
The parties agreed to hold the next meeting on 22 June 2021.
