SCO Secretary-General Vladimir Norov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the PRC Mohamed El Badry on the latter's initiative.
Vladimir Norov talked about the SCO's 20th anniversary this year and the activities planned to mark it. He also congratulated the ambassador on the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Egypt and China and wished success in developing their relations.
The ambassador praised the SCO's efforts in the international arena and its constructive and rich agenda to promote regional security and stability, and the wellbeing and prosperity of the people living in the SCO space.
Mohamed El Badry said Egypt has good relations with all SCO member states and seeks cooperation and successful development in its relations with the Organisation.
