On 17, 19, 23‒25 November 2020, a meeting of the Council of National Coordinators of SCO Member States (CNC) took place via videoconference, under the chairmanship of Tajikistan.
The meeting focused on preparations for the upcoming meeting of the SCO Heads of Government Council (prime ministers) that will be held via videoconference on 30 November 2020.
National coordinators approved drafts of the agenda for the Heads of Government Council (HGC) meeting and the final joint communiqué.
They also approved a draft action plan for implementing the Programme of Multilateral Trade and Economic Cooperation of the SCO Member States, subject to the further approval of the Heads of Government Council.
A representative of the Republic of Tajikistan informed the parties about the priorities of the country's SCO Presidency in 2020‒2021.
The CNC also discussed issues concerning the Organisation's current activity, and the agreements on this are included in the final protocol of the meeting.
The CNC coordinates the SCO's activity and cooperation between the respective ministries and agencies of the member states.
