SCO Secretary General-Secretary Vladimir Norov held a meeting with a Bobaolong company delegation led by its Chairman Chen Weixiong.
The SCO Secretary-General greeted the Chinese delegation and expressed gratitude to the management of Bobaolong and Tianjin Telemedicine Association for providing protective masks for the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation to prevent and combat COVID-19 coronavirus infection.
"Manufacturing high-quality protective gear during the pandemic plays a key role in controlling and preventing the spread of COVID-19," Vladimir Norov noted. "Cooperation between the SCO countries seeking to produce anti-epidemic products is important," Norov said.
Tianjin Telemedicine Association president Feng Xue noted the importance of cooperation in telemedicine within the SCO and willingness to jointly create a platform for expanding telemedicine.
At the meeting, Chen Weixiong spoke about the Bobaolon company which was founded in Puning in 2006, a famous trading city in Guangdong province. The company focuses on creating a value chain for designing and manufacturing textile products.
The Bobaolon head announced the company's plans to expand cooperation with the SCO countries in the textile industry and the production of anti-epidemic items.
