On 22 ̶ 23 October a SCO Secretariat delegation led by Secretary-General Vladimir Norov will attend the 27th China Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Fair, Innovation as a Driving Force for High-Quality Development, in the city of Yangling, Shaanxi Province.
The event has been set up by the Shaanxi Province People's Government, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce, the foreign affairs office of the Yangling Demonstration Zone and various other Chinese agencies.
At the high level forum the Secretary-General is expected to speak about modern-day agriculture as part of the programme planned for 22 October.
A roundtable discussion on SCO Member States Cooperation — Agricultural Produce Trade and Transborder E-Trade involving SCO member states, observers and dialogue partners will be conducted in the afternoon. It is the second joint event of the SCO Secretariat and the Yangling Demonstration Zone foreign affairs office.
A webinar devoted to the topic of cooperation in the establishment of agricultural clusters in the SCO countries is on the agenda for 23 October.
