"I wish all the best to the organisers of the third SCE International Exhibition in Chongqing just as the world battles the COVID-19 pandemic.
The pandemic has accelerated the digital transformation process around the world.
It is clear that smart technologies will play a key role in rebuilding the global economy after the pandemic.
At the second SCE show last year, Chongqing showcased its enormous business capacity by establishing the Global Big Data Intelligence Technology Centre.
Initiatives such as a multifunctional trade and economic platform for the SCO countries in Chongqing are important for cooperation between the SCO and ASEAN in IT, trade and logistics.
I am sure that specialists from around world will propose new ideas today for the further development of the smart industry."
