On 18 May 2020, SCO Secretary-General Vladimir Norov met with Guishi Technology Co., Ltd. CEO Ms Chen Yun at the SCO Secretariat.
They exchanged views on intra-SCO economic, trade and cultural cooperation, discussed the creation of a logistics infrastructure platform in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China.
The SCO Secretary-General noted the company's desire to become actively involved in the Organisation's work and pointed out that the project in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region had obvious geographical advantages and played an important role in expanding ties between China and other member-states.
The SCO Secretariat supports the implementation of various infrastructure projects, including the creation of an international integrated logistics centre.
In turn, Ms Chen Yun said her company would be actively involved in promoting the Shanghai Spirit and would strive to facilitate the consistent expansion of economic, trade, technological and humanitarian cooperation between SCO member states.
