On 31 October 2019, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Vladimir Norov, who arrived in Tashkent to attend a regular meeting of the SCO Heads of Government Council (HGC).
The parties discussed current matters of SCO interaction included in the agenda of the HGC meeting, which opens on 1 November, as well as Uzbekistan's practical participation in SCO activities.
