On 7 December 2018, the SCO Headquarters in Beijing hosted a ceremony of transferring state-of-the-art plasma screens from the Shenzhen-based D-Light Technology Co. to the SCO Secretariat. The screens will be installed at the SCO pavilion during the International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 in Beijing.
"The International Horticultural Exhibition 2019 will become a unique global venue highlighting the latest achievements of garden-park art and will involve over 100 countries and international organisations," SCO Secretary-General Rashid Alimov noted while addressing the participants. The SCO Secretariat continues its comprehensive work to build and equip the SCO pavilion that will open its doors to hundreds of thousands of visitors during the first days of the exhibition, he added.
"The pavilion will reflect the rich cultural and natural heritage and the best horticultural models of SCO member states, as well as the common commitment to respect nature and the environment, to maintain a healthy environment and to ensure sustained ‘green' development in the SCO region," Mr Alimov said. "Our common goal is to make the SCO pavilion one of the most popular displays among international organisations," he said.
He thanked the Shenzhen-based D-Light Technology Co. for its support and technical assistance, and expressed confidence that the SCO pavilion will become an attractive and popular centre of the thriving EXPO mini-city.
D-Light Technology Co. CEO Huang Shaoyung noted that it was a great honour for the company to present its cutting-edge technology at the SCO Headquarters and to act as the SCO pavilion's technical partner.
The event involved ambassadors and diplomats from embassies of SCO member countries, SCO observer states and dialogue partners, accredited in Beijing, as well as representatives of the Chinese business community and media representatives.
The event participants were shown the entire range of the latest optical technology solutions of the D-Light Technology Co.
The Beijing International Horticultural Exhibition 2019, approved by the International Association of Horticultural Producers and the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE), is an A1 category horticultural exhibition, scheduled to be held in Beijing from 29 April through 7 October 2019 with the support of the Government of the People's Republic of China.
