The SCO Secretariat resolutely condemns the terrorist attack on the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Karachi, Pakistan on 23 November 2018. Two policemen guarding the mission were killed and several people were injured.
The SCO Secretariat points out that all member states of the Organisation gravely condemn terrorism in all its shapes and appearances and admit that that there can be no justification for any acts of terror; they also consider it necessary to promote the establishment of a united global anti-terrorist front with the UN playing the central coordinating role.
The SCO Secretariat expresses its deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wishes a speedy recovery to the wounded.
