Parliamentary elections held in Cambodia

On the morning of 29 July 2018, the SCO Observer Mission attended the ceremony of opening the electoral districts for elections to Cambodia's National Assembly (lower house of parliament) in the capital city, Phnom Penh.

There are between three and 10 polling stations, mostly located in schools, in each electoral district. On 29 July, the SCO monitors visited over 70 polling stations in the country's capital.

At the close of the elections on 29 July, SCO Deputy Secretary-General Wang Kaiwen, who chaired the SCO mission, issued an official statement at a news conference.
