On 27 June 2018, SCO Secretary-General Rashid Alimov met with Lebanese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to China Millia Jabbour at the SCO Headquarters in Beijing, at the latter's request.
During the meeting, the officials exchanged opinions on matters of mutual interest.
The Lebanese Ambassador commended the success of the SCO summit recently held in Qingdao, as well as the constructive and eventful agenda of the SCO, aimed at achieving a just and equitable international order and ensuring regional security and the steady development of SCO member states.
At the ambassador's request, Alimov expanded on the SCO Secretariat's plans and its main areas of work for the near future.
The meeting was held in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
