Nursultan Nazarbayev’s book “The Era of Independence” transferred to the SCO library

On April 23, 2018, in a ceremonial atmosphere, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Abdrakhmanov gave SCO Secretary-General Rashid Alimov a book by President of Kazakhstan "The Era of Independence" with the author's dedicatory inscription.

In the book Nazarbayev reveals the gist of the Kazakhstan development model, its evolution, the main principles, mechanisms and driving forces behind it. Written in the style of historical journalism, the book reflects Nazarbayev's view on the country's recent history and its future, and Kazakhstan's steady progress towards the world's 30 most prosperous states in a new global reality.

Minister Abdrakhmanov also presented the SCO library with the book "Kazakhstan Diplomacy: 25 Years in the Service of Peace and Development."

The SCO library was opened on December 22, 2016. It is proud to have books by the heads of state of the SCO countries with the authors' dedicatory inscriptions as well as monographs by scientists and experts from "the SCO family" on the organisation's pressing issues.
