On 19 April 2018, SCO Secretary-General Rashid Alimov had a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the People's Republic of China Shakhrat Nuryshev at the SCO Secretariat.
The officials discussed the further development and strengthening of multifaceted cooperation within the framework of the SCO and preparations for the upcoming meeting of the SCO Heads of State Council, which is planned to be held on 9-10 June in the city of Qingdao on the east coast of China.
Rashid Alimov updated the Kazakhstani Ambassador on the Secretariat's activities and the plan of events that are scheduled to be held in the near future.
The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
