On 16 April 2018, SCO Secretary-General Rashid Alimov met with Chinar Rustamova, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to China at the SCO Secretariat in Beijing.
During the meeting, the officials discussed several issues related to further promotion of cooperation between the SCO and Turkmenistan.
Rashid Alimov noted how important joint work and friendship with Turkmenistan were for the SCO and expressed his hope for the further progressive development of cooperation with the country in a wide range of areas.
The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
