On 25 June 2017, the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation sent messages of condolences to the governments of the People's Republic of China and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in connection with the victims as a result of landslide in Sichuan province (China) and ignition of fuel tank in Bahawalpur (Pakistan).
The SCO Secretariat expresses sincere condolences, deepest sympathy to the families and friends of those died and wishes speedy recovery to the injured.
